We are a friendly group of instructors who love to share their passion for Nordic Walking and helping people to achieve their goals. Nothing make us happier than to see someone learn about Nordic Walking, fall in love with it and then use it hit their personal weight loss or fitness goals. Hertfordshire Nordic Walking provides walks and classes for everyone across Hertfordshire . We can introduce you to the World of Nordic Walking and provide regular classes close to where you live or work.
You don’t have to be a member and you will always be welcome. Nordic Walking is great fun and our instructors will not only ensure that you reach your health goals but that you have a great time doing it! You will learn all you need to know in a relaxed friendly atmosphere with the Learn To Nordic Walk course. Hertfordshire Nordic Walking looks after its walkers, there will never be a shortage of interesting walks and people to meet!

After 20 years in the corporate world I finally took the plunge and qualified as a personal trainer then jacked in the salaried job to do what I love. I am passionate about sport and health and with many years of competitive sporting experience to share, I will help you achieve your health and fitness goals for life.
I strongly believe that it is important to have a balance of different types of exercise to be healthy, lean and strong and Nordic Walking is a fantastic way to burn calories whilst enjoying the great outdoors.
I cater for all levels, with the emphasis on having fun!
Having spent years trying to find that exercise class that covers all the issues of weight loss health and fitness I feel I have finally found the penultimate activity, Nordic Walking.
I would like to invite you all to my Nordic walking Group as it is a fantastic motivational experience for ALL fitness levels aged 18 and over. We enjoy walking in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside whatever the weather whilst engaging in meaningful and mindful exercise.
Focusing on the bodies’ posture using the Nordic walking technique building core strength, excellent for weight loss and gentle on the bones and joints. This is a social experience but 1:1 sessions can be arranged if required.
Jane is a Personal Trainer and owns ‘Nordic Walking Watford‘ which offers Tasters, Courses and Regular Nordic walks 6 days a week throughout the year.

Nordic Walking is an enhancement of ordinary walking. If you can walk, you can Nordic walk, and by using the poles with the correct technique, you will find it twice as effective!
